While today has left us with heavy wind and rain, we know there are families and individuals catching a much harder hit from the hurricane. Our hearts are with those navigating the effects of the storm, as well as the aftermath. 💛 We’re grateful for our safety, and continue to pray for the safety of those directly impacted.

But we also made sure to have lighter-weight options for some of our crew necks and hoodies. That way they’re still comfortable being worn around the house or for heading to more indoor adventures.

That way they can be worn throughout the year, even if you live in a state that essentially has one season 🌞.

This has been my mantra for the last few weeks.

This has been my mantra for the last few weeks.

Fun fact: This mug was inspired by my son and his teacher from last year.

I was picking him up from school and he got into the car and said, “Gosh, my teacher really has to get her life together”.

Unsure of if he was being sarcastic (or rude 😅), I asked him what inspired him to say that. To which he replied, “Oh, she says it all the time. She tells us she really needs to get her life together”. He is very literal and simply wanted to help her get her life together.

After denying his initial request to “buy her a bunch of energy drinks”, I told him we could get her a bag of coffee or gift-card to a coffee shop, and make her a mug. He picked out the colors (his teacher’s favorite colors, of course 🥹), and a few weeks later, he gifted her this for Teacher Appreciation week 💙.

Now that we are homeschooling this year, my husband and I are the teachers. And let me tell you, the mug is just as fitting 🤣.

Oh, hi friend! 👋🏽 Maddie here! Figured a quick intro to our small business might be nice for those who recently joined our Gram Fam. Thank you for being here!

With the help of my hubby (and his patience for all my wild ideas 😅), I launched Real Talk Goods. I was inspired for a few reasons, which primarily includes:

➡️ a love for sparking conversation & connection with other passionate people. I love me some real talk!

➡️ the belief that joy can be found in simple things (glimmers, if you will✨ ). That might be a mug to sip from or a crew to lounge around in (hence why we started with drink-ware & apparel).

➡️ and because something I found (or maybe it’s more appropriate to say “something I didn’t find”) while working in the holistic wellness space…pretty much any time I searched for quirky, fun, and thoughtful gifts for fellow wellness-enthusiast friends, I came up short. So I decided to make my own and share them with you!

We are a small business with a big heart💛.
And we’re ever-so-slowly adding updated listings and products to the shop. SO much time, love, and energy has been poured into this, and I truly to do my best. As a working and (newly) homeschooling Mama who’s also in grad school, my presence here isn’t nearly as consistent as I’d like for it to be. That’s just the honest truth.
